How do I get started on MatchRX?
You can start posting and selling Prescription Drugs as soon as you have registered and become an authorized member of MatchRX (MRX). You may use MRX if you are a licensed pharmacist or licensed owner.
You will also need an email address and a password to access the Site.

Is the MatchRX site secure?
Yes, MatchRX (MRX) is a secure site. During and after logging into MRX, any compatible Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) browser will automatically be directed into a secure environment which will encrypt the transaction for transmission over the Internet. We invite you to click to verify on our Verisign certificate.

What are the fees for buying a prescription drugs and what do they cover?
Fees include: Shipping* & Handling charge (unless Seller has elected to pay for S&H)
*The shipping fee pays for your FedEx shipment with our integrated tracking system, which helps ensure the Seller ships your prescription drug(s). -
Where do these prescription drugs come from?
From licensed independent pharmacists just like you who have overstocked inventory. MatchRX (MRX) requires selling products at a minimum of 10% below WAC or 25% below AAWP. MRX provides an active marketplace where independent pharmacists can gather to buy and sell prescription drugs to better manage their inventory and maximize their profits. Plus, you can take advantage of odd lot orders and not have to purchase a full pack. AAWP discounts may not apply to generic drug posting. Pricing may vary.
Who are the Sellers?
The independent pharmacists selling prescription drugs on MRX are:* Pharmacists with customers who move.
* Pharmacists with medications that have recently lost their patent.
* Pharmacists with customers who have changed their prescription.
* Pharmacists with an overstock of prescription drugs to sell.
* Pharmacists dealing with less than ideal manufacturer package sizes.As a Buyer, this allows you to choose from the widest possible selection of prescription drugs. Sellers are licensed neighborhood pharmacists from across the country who wish to minimize waste and see their prescription drugs end up in the hands of other independent pharmacists.

What are the ways I can search for a prescription drug?
It’s easy! Login on the MatchRX homepage and select Buy. You can look up postings by the name of the prescription drug, NDC code, expiration dates, pricing, etc. You can also create a Wishlist or a Watchlist.
You can search for prescription drugs by:
1. Typing the first few letters of a prescription drug name.
2. The NDC number.
3. Selecting recent postings.
4. Selecting the expiration date you’re looking for from the drop-down menu
5. Selecting the min AAWP* discount.
6. Or, select browse all. -
Are there any prescription drugs I won’t find on MatchRX?
We do not allow narcotic prescription drugs in the marketplace. This is the current policy of MatchRX.

How do prescription drug prices differ on MatchRX compared to WAC/AAWP pricing?
MatchRX (MRX) consistently wants to bring our members value, so we require Sellers to price their prescription drugs below WAC pricing. Where WAC pricing is not available, MRX uses AAWP to help determine the maximum price on a posting. Sellers are free to ask any price for their prescription drugs once they have dropped prices to at least 10% below WAC or 25% below AAWP pricing. After that, MRX does not attempt to regulate a Seller’s prescription drug prices. AAWP discounts may not apply to generic drug posting. Pricing may vary.
It is the Seller’s responsibility to abide by the MRX User Agreement and list prescription drugs in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal statutes and regulations.

Why are prescription drugs priced differently?
MatchRX is not the prescription drug(s) Seller; you are buying/selling overstocked prescription drug(s) from other independent pharmacists across the country. Sellers determine the sale price(s). Several factors come into play when pricing an overstocked prescription drug such as expiration date, quantity in stock, condition of packaging and market shortage. Our unique marketplace allows you to see all of the available prescription drug(s) at once, giving you the power to easily find the prescription drug(s) you want, in the quantity you need, at a discounted price.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for, just add a prescription drug to your Wishlist and we’ll update you via e-mail once that prescription drug is posted. Our postings are constantly updated.

How can I find information about a prescription drug, such as strength, quantity, form, and expiration date?
The information for each posting can be easily viewed in the marketplace. For more details including a photo, click on the photo, name, or view details in the marketplace menu.

What are my payment options for buying/selling prescription drugs on MatchRX?
You can buy prescription drugs with automated clearing house (ACH). It is the easiest and most economical way to transfer funds.

Why do I have to provide my bank account and routing numbers?
MatchRX (MRX) uses Automated Clearing House (ACH) to transfer funds into your account on sales and to debit your account on purchases. It’s simple, secure, and the most cost efficient method to transfer funds. We ask for a valid bank routing and account number to ensure accurate processing.
MRX credits your bank account for any amount due to you and debits all payments due. This security measure helps protect against fraudulent charges. By providing this information, you are helping make the MRX marketplace more secure.

Where are my prescription drugs after I order them?
As soon as the Seller confirms your order, you will receive an email that provides you a FedEx tracking number. If your prescription drugs do not arrive by the expected delivery date call customer service at 248-971-0909, or toll free at 1-877-590-0808. Have your order number ready and we will help you locate your prescription drug(s).

When is an order confirmed?
When you place an order for prescription drugs at MatchRX, we immediately send the Seller an email instructing them to confirm that they will be able to deliver your order.
The Seller has two (2) business days to receive the notification email and confirm the order. When Seller’s confirm shipment:
* You’ll receive a FedEx tracking number for your shipment.
* Your bank account is debited. -
Who pays for shipping of prescription drugs?
All Prescription Drugs are paid for by the Buyer unless Seller has indicated Seller will pay for shipping and handling upon posting the Prescription Drug(s). Shipping costs may be incurred by Buyer or Seller in each transaction.
Shipping Services are via FedEx starting at $4.73, depending upon where your prescription drugs are being shipped whether or not they require refrigeration/special shipping, and the shipping option you choose.

What is the Wishlist and how does it work?
At MatchRX our goal is to help you save time and money. One of the easiest features to use on the site is the Wishlist. Once a fellow member posts an item(s) from your Wishlist, you’ll receive an e-mail the next morning informing you of the name of the item(s). Members can also click on the Wishlist tab and view the items that are available on the site.
The Wishlist allows you to find the items you regularly purchase from your wholesaler and those DAW scripts without having to search through thousands of items posted on the site.
There are a several ways members can add items to their Wishlist.
1. Once a member purchases an item, it’ll automatically be added to the Wishlist.
2. Members can click on the “Magic Wand” on the Search Page next to any item.
3. Members can type the name of the drug in the “Quick Search” in the marketplace and find the drug. If the
item isn’t available, simply click on the button that reads “Add to Wishlist”. -
How do I change my shipping address?
To ensure orders are shipped only to registered pharmacies and their respective addresses, you will need to contact customer service to provide your new location and a copy of a pharmacy license reflecting the new address.

Why does MatchRX only ship by FedEx?
FedEx tracks all shipments to ensure Sellers ship orders and Buyers receive them in a timely manner. If a Buyer does not confirm delivery of order and satisfaction of the prescription drug(s) ordered within two (2) business days of receipt, MatchRX (MRX) will assume the Buyer is satisfied and credit the Seller’s account.
In short, integrating the MRX marketplace with FedEx tracking helps make excellent service to Buyers and Sellers possible.

What are FedEx shipping fees and what do they cover?
FedEx Shipping – Shipping fees start at $4.73, depending upon where, how quickly, and the manner your prescription drugs are being shipped. When you order your prescription drug(s), MatchRX (MRX) will automatically calculate the FedEX shipping cost and charge it to your account.
MRX provides free pick up services (member pays for shipping only) for FedEx 2-Day and FedEx Overnight services by clicking on the “Pick Up” button when completing a sale. FedEx ground shipments may be dropped off at an authorized drop off center. MRX provides locations to all drop off centers in the vicinity of the member’s pharmacy. For FedEx Ground shipping, DO NOT use FedEx envelopes or packages. All FedEx ground shipments picked up or dropped off are subject to a $3.00 FedEx per package charge. The FedEx ground pick up fee also applies to orders picked up by a FedEx ground courier dropping off a separate shipment to you. You may not drop off a FedEx ground shipment to a FedEx 2-Day Express or FedEx Overnight drop box. Orders must be dropped off at an authorized FedEx Ground drop off location. FedEx will only cover up to $100.00 for lost or damaged items. Frozen/Refrigerated items must be shipped Monday – Thursday via FedEx Overnight Priority Mail®.

Will all of my prescription drugs be shipped together?
Yes, when purchased from the same Seller in a single order.

Why do I have to use FedEx Overnight for refrigerated/frozen/dry prescription drugs?
MatchRX (MRX) adheres to proper product storage as declared by the package insert for shipping frozen and refrigerated products in order to keep the prescription drugs in the condition required.
MRX provides free pick up services (member pays for shipping only) for FedEx 2-Day and FedEx Overnight services by clicking on the “Pick Up” button when completing a sale. All FedEx Ground shipments must be dropped off at an authorized drop off center. MRX provides locations to all drop off centers in the vicinity of the member’s pharmacy. For FedEx Ground shipping, DO NOT use FedEx envelopes or packages. All FedEx Ground shipments picked up directly from the pharmacy are subject to a $3.00 FedEx pick up charge. The FedEx Ground pick up fee also applies to orders picked up by a FedEx ground courier dropping off a separate shipment to you. Why can’t you ship to my P.O. Box or my home?
We use FedEx to ship all packages. This allows us to track your package at every stage during the shipping process. For the integrity and security of the MatchRX (MRX) market place, MRX delivers only to your registered pharmacy address.
Note: FedEx requires signatures for prescription drug deliveries. Please be aware of the expected delivery date and plan accordingly.

We will confirm the date of delivery with FedEx on your behalf and contact you to provide you the expected delivery date.

What do I do if my prescription drugs were lost, damaged, or stolen prior to receiving the order?
If your prescription drugs were lost during shipment, give us a call immediately at 248-971-0909 or toll free 877-590-0808. We will work with FedEx on a claim to help locate your prescription drug(s).
FedEx will only cover up to $100.00 for lost or damaged items. MatchRX (MRX) is not responsible for any damages or lost profits that result from MRX users directly contacting other MRX users.

I received an error message while placing an order. What should I do?
Double-check the order details to ensure that all the information you provided is accurate. If you still receive an error message, it’s possible that your financial institution is flagging the purchase for some reason. Can I cancel my order?
Once you order prescription drugs, a Seller has two (2) business days to confirm your order. You cannot cancel an order during this period of two (2) business days.
You can cancel an order that has remained unconfirmed after two (2) business days or more. If you wish, give us a call at 248-971-0909, or toll free at 1-877-590-0808 and we will contact the Seller on your behalf to inquire about the unconfirmed order.

Who pays for shipping and handling?
Shipping costs may be incurred by Buyer or Seller in each transaction. A Seller may elect to pay for shipping to provide an extra incentive for a Buyer to purchase their posting. In instances when a Buyer purchases more than one item in an order and the Seller offers free shipping on one item but not any of the other items, Click here for Shipping Costs
There is no need for you to use your own FedEx account. When you confirm your order, we’ll provide you a pre-paid FedEx shipping label to use.

How do I use the Wishlist?
While searching for a prescription drug that is not currently listed in the MatchRX marketplace, add it to your Wishlist. Once a member posts the prescription drug you saved, you will be notified via email regarding the posting. The drugs saved will be listed under the Wishlist tab.

How do I use the Watchlist?
While searching in the Marketplace, you have the option to save specific prescriptions drugs onto your Watchlist. This allows members to save (or watch) a drug to revisit at another time. All drugs saved will be listed under the Watchlist tab. An icon will also be added under the name of all the drugs saved. If there is a price change on a Watchlist item, you will be informed via e-mail.

Yes. When prescription drugs are being shipped to you, we’ll provide a FedEx tracking number when we send your confirmation and on your Manage Page once your prescription drugs have been shipped. Just click the link to track your package on the FedEx website.
