Whats new?

MatchRXchange launches – Almost two years after the launch of MRX, MatchRXchange.com was officially launched on January 16, 2012.  With over 14,000 items, this new marketplace is proving to save members even more time and money when buying regular inventory items.  Prescription drug prices are changing daily and by joining MatchRXchange you can find out if you’re buying at the best price from your primary or secondary wholesaler.  MatchRXchange is an easy to use one-stop shop, enabling members the opportunity to compare pricing and buy from multiple wholesalers.  We’re adding wholesalers every month, which will give you more choices as we grow.

Our new affiliation - MatchRX is pleased to announce our affiliation with Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association (PPA) a professional membership society of registered pharmacists, student pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and others who reside, work, attend college, or are interested in pharmacy in Pennsylvania.

PPA promotes the profession through advocacy, education, and communication to enhance patient care and public health. Founded in 1878, PPA continues to tackle educational, legislation and advocacy issues as well as remain a constant and vocal advocate. New Features…

Manufacturer Information – MatchRXchange.com in the Marketplace “Buy Page” as well as on MatchRX.com.  You no longer have to click on the photo to view the manufacturer, saving you time when browsing and shopping on both sites. We want to continue to enhance your experience each time you visit, so don’t hesitate to offer ways we can improve by contacting us by phone or sending a message in the “Contact” section.

Patent vs. Generic – We have now entered the imminent era of the “patent cliff,” the slippery slope when drugs lose patent protection. According to EvaluatePharma data, an estimated $250 billion in sales are at risk between now and 2015, due to many drugs set to lose their patent.

Posting & Searching – Scan Your Prescription Drugs – Try out the new barcode scan feature for MRX or  MatchRXchange (MXC) to make your marketplace experience less time consuming and more fun. The barcode scanner allows you to scan barcodes on items you’d like to look up prices for, search for other listed drugs on the site and much more.Save time and make sure your order is accurate by connecting your scanner to your PC today.

     Scanner tip:

      • Allows you to send data to MRX as though it was typed on a keyboard – eliminating                  errors in data entry and improving efficiency.

      • Allows you to compare top wholesalers prescription drug offers and look up prices on MXC.

Tis the season to be giving! Every month MatchRX shares some neat tips and tricks to incorporate in your savings and buying power routine. Check out some of the latest pointers below:

Buying: Everyone likes to save – Don’t forget to view the MatchRX Deals of the Week, which delivers savings on WAC minus up to 70% off a variety of prescription drugs sent directly to your inbox.

Wishlist: Your wish is our command – If you missed out on a deal, save time waiting for items to purchase just by setting up your Wishlist on MatchRX and we’ll notify you daily by e-mail when your Wishlist items are posted.

Whats new?

In 2011, MatchRX took your ideas and suggestions to implement a ton of features to the marketplace. Take a look at some of the new and improved features added to the site over the past year:

   Members were able to sort by column in the “My Postings” section. This allows for easier
searching and viewing of postings.

Members suggested a minimum order amount to ensure that it remains cost effective for
sellers to spend time shipping orders. A $25.00 minimum order requirement was put
in place.

Viewing postings just got easier.  You‘re able to change the number of items you view per
page. Simply scroll down the bottom of the “BUY” page and select the number of items
that best suits you.

By using the Wishlist, you can locate items you regularly purchase from your wholesaler
and those DAW scripts without having to search through thousands of items posted on
the site.

 Export postings from the marketplace by clicking “Download All” to export all postings
from the marketplace to an excel spreadsheet. Use this information with your inventory
management software to optimize your shopping experience.

New Purchase History icon, which allows you to view items previously purchased in the
marketplace. Click on the column icon to filter the Purchase History column or click on the
iicon in the row to view the history of the specific item purchased.

The Order Revision feature allows you to click “Revise” order in the Seller Confirmation
area and you will be prompted to fill in the modification.

“Add to Order” button allows you to easily purchase additional items from the same Seller.

 Download Transaction History feature gives you a complete view of your buying and selling
transactions, which helps to maintain organization for your business.

 Scan your prescription drugs using the barcode scanner. It allows you to scan the
barcode on an item you’d like to post or search for other posted drugs on the site
