Now is a good time to clean up your inventory. Post your overstock as we approach the end
of the year. The more you post, the more you’ll save with MatchRX. When items sell, post
more and watch your savings take off.

Scan your prescription drugs:
 Say good bye to manually inputting your NDC on MatchRX. We’ve added a new feature to make your marketplace experience easier and more fun. The new scanner feature is great! It allows you to scan the barcode on an item you’d like to post or search for other posted drugs on the site.
MatchRX knows that saving you time and making sure your order is accurate are important factors in your pharmacy success. Connect your scanner to your PC today and start experiencing an easier way to post and search.
Using the Scanner feature:
1. Use a barcode scanner that has the capability to connect to your PC. This will allow you to input the NDC as though it was typed on a keyboard – eliminating errors in data entry and improving efficiency.
2. Place cursor in the NDC search field on the Buy page, scan an item and it will automatically pull up the prescription drug information. |

Last month, I shared a snippet of MatchRX news that will change the way pharmacist and wholesalers buy and sell. As a member of MatchRX, you’ll be the first to use this new platform which will provide complete transparancy and pricing of your daily purchases. Expect a call from your account representative about this exciting new tool that will help you with inventory and expand your buying opportunities.
With only a few months of 2011 remaining, the imminent arrival of the “patent cliff” is knocking and it’s time to post those patent drugs that are set to expire. We’re offering pharmacists a more effective way to save on their prescription drug purchases and for the month of November we’ll reduce your sale fee to 6%, just by posting 50 items.
According to EvaluatePharma data, an estimated $250 billion in sales are at risk between now and 2015, due to many drugs set to lose their patent. Lipitor, the cholesterol-lowering medication will lose its patent this month and the anti-psychotic drug Zyprexa expired in October.
Once drugs lose patent protection, lower-price generics quickly drain off as much as 90% of their sales, says IBISWorld. So, why wait? Post those drugs and let MatchRX clean up your inventory!
