August 2018 Newsletter

From the CEO

MatchRX 3.0 and MatchSquare

Over the last 12 months, MatchRX has been busy designing a new and improved marketplace scheduled to launch before the end of the year. Not just an upgrade but MatchRX 3.0.  We have taken the best parts of our existing marketplace and added many new features suggested by you, our loyal members. The new marketplace will be faster, easier to use, and full of new features designed to improve your experience. To complement the new marketplace, we will be launching Android and iOS apps that will allow you to buy, post, sell, and confirm orders directly from your mobile device.

Just as exciting, we are launching MatchSquare. MatchSquare will connect unique front-end merchandise wholesalers and manufacturers with you, providing your pharmacy with access to thousands of interesting, popular, and creative items to help boost your front-end sales. If you’ve ever wondered who to contact to get a specific product, you no longer have to search. You’ll likely find them on MatchSquare. Think Amazon for independent pharmacies. Easy, fast, reliable.

We have lots to share in the coming months, which is why we have created a new section in our newsletter called “Sneak Peek”. The Sneak Peek section will highlight new features and functionality delivered with the launch the new MatchRX marketplace, mobile apps, and MatchSquare. I encourage you to read the Sneak Peek section every month.

Thank you for your continued membership. As always, we remain passionate about community pharmacy and look forward to helping you and your business thrive!

With recent reports of increasing fall-related deaths among patients 65 and older, pharmacists’ services are proving to be critical in efforts to curb this growing health threat.
